Sidebar filtering for collections#22

It would be so good to have a side filter for the main shop page on desktop

I’m seeing an increase of interest in this feature, this would be great to have 👀

It would be great to have a side filter on desktop. I’m using a third party app which replaces the whole product grid. It’s an ok solution, but I feel if this was natively in the theme, site speed would improve.

This is an increasingly popular feature for online retailers and would be a hugely helpful feature for our customers – where they can see menus and filters in one sidebar view.

I would love to see an option to have the menu bar on the left side as opposed to the top. :)

An open sidebar filter is critical now and a feature I am also missing. There are several excellent implementations, so if the Fluorescent folks would like some hints and serious feedback, please let me know.
