Adding other items to "grid" beside "grid item"#240

Sorry, coming from Shopware not really understanding Shopify theming yet.

What I want to be able to is to add simple HTML code, maybe a “custom liquid” or in the best case a slideshow, a countdown or whatever to a grid.

Thanks so much for your input! The grid section isn’t designed to be a ‘grid layout’ for other sections, as Shopify doesn’t support nested sections at this time. Given that you’re looking to add in custom HTML, it sounds like the section that would be best for you to check out is the “Custom Liquid” section, which also supports HTML. There you’ll be able to build out a custom section while managing it within the Theme editor.
