Variant Metafields#356

Allow variant metafields to be selected as metafield options on the PDP. The field would update based upon variant selections on the page. This would be useful for backorder dates, preorder dates, and custom messages per variant selection.

The metafields that are selectable in the theme editor is something that’s controlled by Shopify itself. We on the theme level can’t change this behavior. And in this case, Shopify does not make the variant metafields selectable on the product template, unfortunately.
