Theme accessibility enhancement suggestion (video controls)#423

To better align with WCAG 2.1 AA best practices and improve usability, it would be great if all video components in the theme included:

• Visible Play / Pause controls for all videos (including background or hero videos).
• A Sound On / Off (mute) toggle for any video with audio capability.
• No videos autoplaying with sound by default.
• Controls that are keyboard accessible with visible focus states.
• Support for prefers-reduced-motion user settings where possible.

These additions would significantly improve accessibility for users with motion sensitivity, cognitive disabilities, and keyboard-only navigation, and would make the theme more robust for stores prioritizing inclusive design.

Stiletto should have these accessibility options already, for example, Stiletto’s background videos are equipped with accessibility playback controls. These controls can be viewed by using keyboard navigation. You’ll want to press the tab key to bring up the accessibility controls.
